Orlando, Florida (December 5, 2002) - The new EQUS bone strength assessment device
piqued the interest of veterinarians and horse trainers alike at the 48th Annual Convention of the
American Association of Equine Practitioners in Orlando, Florida in December 2002.
The ultrasound-based EQUS device, the only available device of its kind, can serve as an invaluable aid in determining
training and nutrition schedules to help horses reach the maximum with a minimum risk of fractures and injuries.
Visitors to the Sunlight booth expressed interest in the unique device and in the clinical research that has shown
the device to be an accurate and easy-to-operate method to assess equine bone strength.
The device is currently in use in a in use in a growing number of research centers around the world.
